Position Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for servicing large commercial clients and partnering with the Commercial Lines Producer to support business development. This role is the primary contact for clients, addressing service needs, questions, and vendor interactions. The Account Manager maintains a dedicated book of commercial accounts and upholds a high standard of customer service.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage daily service needs of large commercial client accounts proactively and effectively.
- Educate clients on coverage options, exclusions, and potential exposures, identifying opportunities to optimize their programs.
- Communicate consistently, accurately, and promptly with clients and vendors.
- Maintain complete and accurate records of client interactions within the CRM, adhering to workflow standards.
- Conduct proactive client renewal process, collaborating with team members as needed.
- Attend client meetings with the producer when available.
- Build knowledge of Property & Casualty plans, department services, and regulatory compliance through ongoing education and team meetings.
- Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in property and casualty account management
- Property & Casualty Agency License required before hire
- Expertise in policy management for property and casualty insurance
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities
- Proven multitasking skills under pressure
- Professional communication skills (listening, speaking, and writing)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Willingness to learn and adapt
